Cora Bike Racks

E-commerce site for a Canadian cycling accessories brand.

Cora manufactures premium bike storage solutions in Canada. Their products are purpose-built and differentiated: racks engineered for urban apartments, garages, and transit hubs. These aren’t impulse purchases. Buyers research, compare specifications, check mounting options, and confirm compatibility before ordering. The e-commerce site needed to support that deliberate buying process, not rush it.

The challenge

Bike racks succeed or fail on engineering details. Load capacity, mounting type, space efficiency, material durability — these are features, not fluff. Cora’s prospective customers are cyclists and facility managers who understand the difference between a cheap solution and one that will secure their investment for years. The site had to present those technical credentials clearly, with diagrams and dimension specs that inspired confidence rather than confusion.

What we built

We designed a product-focused storefront that treats specifications as first-class content. Each rack displays mounting instructions, dimension diagrams, weight capacity, and installation videos. We structured the catalogue by use case — residential, commercial, accessible — so buyers could filter down to their scenario without wading through irrelevant options.

The product pages include material and finish options, pricing transparency, and shipping guidance for Canada. We emphasised the engineering: durability claims are backed by materials and finish specs, not marketing prose.

We also built the catalogue to be maintained without a developer. Cora can add a new rack, revise specifications, or update pricing in minutes, so the site keeps pace with the product line instead of freezing on launch day. Filtering uses the language buyers actually use — mount type, load capacity, and install location — rather than internal product codes, so a facility manager comparing options for a transit hub reaches the right two or three models quickly. Every product page is responsive, so the same detail reads cleanly whether a buyer is at a desk or checking dimensions on their phone in a parking garage.

The result

The site lets Cora’s premium positioning speak for itself. There’s no pretence to be the cheapest; the site proves they’ve engineered the longest-lasting, most reliable option. Customers spend time exploring, comparing, and learning. The friction of “is this the right product?” gets resolved by clear information, not sales pressure.

For manufacturers of technical products, the best e-commerce experience is the clearest one. Explore our services if you’re selling something with real substance.
